Mother & Wild (1.6 miles)
Mother & Wild is a neighborhood cafe, restaurant and bar in Corsham. They cook food that they love, their not into pretentious swipes, foams or any of that rubbish, just hearty food with robust flavours. We have a range of small plates/ British tapas that change with the seasons which are great to share.
They cook sourdough pizza in their wood fired brick oven. Neapolitan style at extreme heat delivering crisp pillowy crusts, with spots of char. Their dough is proofed for 36 hours making it easy to digest and giving it depth of flavour. None of the artificial/ chemical yeast which floods our nation.
The Methuen Arms (1.6 miles)
A 9-minute walk from the stately home Corhsam Court, this refined Georgian pub with rooms was a former 17th-century coaching inn. It's 10 miles from Bath and 4 miles from Lacock Abbey country house.
With exposed beam ceilings, the elegant, chic rooms offer en suite bathrooms, as well as free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges; some have free-standing baths and 4-poster beds. A family suite adds a separate living room and bunk beds.
The Quarrymans Arms (2.2 miles)
The Quarrymans is a traditional, popular village pub, where the bar is always warm and welcoming with a good country feel.
You will find a steady stream of local clientele and maybe a dog or two quietly stretched out. Its a place where you can relax with a book and a beer or meet with friends for a casual drink.
Outside, there’s a beer garden so you can soak up the sunshine in the summer and offers unrivalled views over the valley towards colerne. In the winter the snug is the place to be with a fire so you can warm up on those chilly days.
Lucknam Park (6.3 miles)
Located in the heart of English countryside and just minutes from Bath, Lucknam Park is the perfect place to enjoy fine dining at the Michelin starred Park restaurant. Available for Sunday lunch, or evening dinners on Wednesday to Sunday, it is the pinnacle of culinary excellence, with an impressive list of wines by the glass, Champagnes and aperitif’s.
